The closest guesthouse to Universal Studio Japan (Not Hotel, but budget accommodation)
Our guesthouse is located about 15~20 minutes walk (1.3km) to USJ. The nearest station, Ajikawaguchi Station, is a 5 minute walk away. Unlike hotels and ryokan (Japanese inns), we are a guesthouse (hostel), which means that we do not provide excessive services, so you can stay here comfortably and cheaply.

We are NOT a hotel, but a guesthouse. Therefore..,
Accommodation is extremely cheap
Unlike hotels, guesthouses are much cheaper to stay in. Here’s why…
- Meals are not included in the accommodation. （Instead, there is a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.)
- There are no attached bathrooms or toilets in the rooms. (There is a shower room available 24 hours a day)
- No amenities are provided (simple items such as shaving and toothpaste sets are available for 100 yen, and bath towels can be borrowed for 100 yen. Body soap and rinse-in shampoo are provided in the shower room.
- To reduce labour costs, the customers lay out the sheets themselves.
- There is no parking at our guesthouse (please use the nearby coin-operated car parks).
However, with coin-operated parking, you will have to find a space available on the day. If you want to make a reservation in advance, please use this site!
Meals are not included
Instead, there is a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.We have a complete set of cooking appliances (oven, toaster, microwave, water boiler, fridge), utensils, plates and cups.
We also have the basic seasonings (oil, salt, pepper, soy sauce, etc.) so you don’t have to buy them all at once.
And to top it all off, we have free coffee, tea, tea and more!
Bathrooms are shared
There are no bathrooms, toilets or washbasins in your room as in a hotel. （You can use the shared bathroom (available 24 hours a day). The showers are equipped with body soap and 2-in-1 shampoo.There is a hot spring resort nearby (courtesy bus available from the near hotel).
There is a hairdryer in the washbasin and a hair iron available for hire!

laying out sheets
I know it’s unthinkable in a hotel or inn, but in our guesthouse the customers have to lay out their own sheets. By doing this, we can save on labour costs, which in turn reduces the cost of accommodation.There is no parking at our guesthouse.

Dormitory Room
The dormitory has a capacity of 8 people. There are two types of rooms, one for mixed and one for women.
Most guesthouse dorm beds are 100cm wide or 120cm wide at the widest. In the case of our hostel, the widest bed is 180cm wide, so as you can see from the photo, you can put your suitcase right next to it. It’s a bit like a small attic room.[ Equipment ]

There is one loft bed in this room. If you do not feel comfortable in a dormitory room, you can book this room as a single room. You can sleep either up or down.

However, there are some restrictions when using this room for a large group.
– No eating or drinking is allowed in the room.
– Party is not allowed in the room.

It’s not at all like the expensive hotels near USJ, but it offers homely and comfortable facilities.
- Comfortable living room where you can feel at home.
- Make the most of the baggage room, which you can always leave your luggage!
- Families with children enjoying USJ are welcome!
- There is a coin-operated laundry, which is useful for those staying for longer periods of time.
- Shower rooms and powder rooms are available before going to USJ, and you can take a shower before boarding the night bus.
- If you need to go to the nearby supermarket for a bit of shopping, you can use our bike rental service for free!
Comfortable living room
The living room and dining room are spacious enough for most people to relax in. Each room is not spacious, but the common space is large enough for you to watch TV, play on your phone, and feel at home.
You can also exchange information with fellow USJ lovers and Japanese people, and have an international exchange too!
Luggage room
If you want to go to the USJ, it’s better to be light. We have a luggage room where you can leave your luggage at any time after check-out or before check-in.
You can leave your valuables in the luggage room at any time after check-out or before check-in, but please note that this is not a locker room and you are responsible for your own valuables.
* The entrance to the luggage room is locked by an automatic lock.
* You will be informed of the password and how to unlock the door the day before your check-in date.
Kids’ space
We welcome families with children. We have a wide range of books and toys to keep the children occupied. You are welcome to play with them as you like.
In the common living room we have a number of USJ related stuffed animals so that children who come to enjoy USJ can enjoy the atmosphere.
Coin-operated laundry
If you are staying for a long time, even if it is only for a few nights, you can reduce your luggage if you can do your laundry.If you stay in a dormitory, you can stay for a long time for about the same price as in a shared house. For those people, a coin-operated laundry is also a must. The washing machine costs 200 yen per time, and the dryer 100 yen per 15 minutes. Yen. Detergent is available free of charge.
Shower room / Powder room
If you’re taking the night bus home, you’ll have to wait until the bus departs in the evening, but if you’re staying at our guesthouse, you can kill time in the shared living room and take a shower before you get on the bus!If you want to go to USJ before you check in, you may want to change your clothes before you go.
In our guesthouse, you can use the shower and powder room before check-in and after check-out.
Bike rental
You can rent a bike for free for up to 3 hours. You can go to USJ in 10 minutes by bicycle.Unfortunately, there is no supermarket within walking distance. so you can use this bike to go shopping.
If you use more than 3 hours, the rental fee is 700 yen.
CHECH-IN / CHECK-OUT
Manned CHECK-IN is available between 15:00 and 22:00.
Check-in time is in between 15:00 ~ 22:00. After 22:00, you will be required to do SELF CHECK-IN.
Manned CHECK-OUT available between 8:00 and 11:00
If you check out before 8:00 a.m., you can do SELF CHECK-OUT, However the guest who did SELF CHECK-IN, please come to the reception during the above RECEPTION HOURS to submit the check-in sheet (We also have to check your passport.)

Policies
Cancellation Policy
– Persons under 17 years of age can not be stayed without their parents. We may accept them based on his/her age if they submit a consent document from their parents in advance.
Co-sleeping
Only 1 kid for co-sleeping is allowed for free. Over 2nd kids are counted as a adult with adult rate. If you have children who will be co-sleeping with a adult, please indicate his/her age in the comments section. Children who will not be co-sleeping with a adult will be calculated into the number of adults.
Extra bed(futon bedding)
In case you request an extra futon, it would be charged 2,000JPY additionally. Only 1 extra futon is available.
